B.Sc ( Honours ) Program Educational Objectives (PEO)
- The BSc Honours program aims to train, encourage and promote the students to explore different disciplines in the biological sciences, to instill passion and curiosity embedded with a deep sense of ethics.
- Basic competency in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Genetics and Microbiology field to pursue higher studies in one of the specialized areas within these
- Instill basic analytical ability essential to work in the Biotechnology, Biochemistry Chemistry, Genetics and Microbiology
- Basic fundamental understanding of applications of various interconnected branches of life sciences
- Contribute to the national need for trained workforce required in the Life science Industry
- Instill scientific temperament for the betterment of human community

- Demonstrate fundamental knowledge of the principles of Chemistry, Cell Biology, Microbiology, Biochemical analysis, Immunology and Immuno techniques,
- Demonstrate basic knowledge of enzymology, intermediary metabolism molecularbiology and genetic engineeringprinciples
- Display essential skills to simple biochemical calculations necessary to carry out laboratorywork
- Display the analytical ability necessary to integrate and apply the knowledge acquired in all the subjects
- Display communication, power point presentation skills to acquire better prospects for future
- Demonstrate the knowledge acquired about research articles and Journals
- Display skills in understaning a research problem and its root cause

- Demonstrate fundamental knowledge of the principles of Microbiology, Biochemical analysis, Immunology and Immunotechniques, inorganic , Physical and organic chemistry,
- Display essential skills to simple biochemical calculations necessary to carry out laboratory work
- Display competency in skills of laboratory experiments in estimating biomolecules, Enzyme assays , basic experiments in molecular Biology, plant and animal BT
