At Dayananda Sagar University, Bachelor’s in Design (B.Des.) course is a four-year full-time degree program that equips students with industrially relevant knowledge and skills that are required to become a professional designer. With creativity as its main driver, we consider usability, aesthetics, functionality and sustainability at the focal points of design. This course combines the knowledge of science, technology, human behavior and society to address human needs spanning across the various levels of Maslow’s hierarchy. 50% marks in 10+2 or equivalent in any stream from a recognized board with English as a mandatory course; Or At least 50% aggregate in a 3 year diploma with English as a mandatory course; Or A valid test score in UCEED / DAT.
