Gp Capt (Dr) Mukund Mohan, a veteran from the Indian Air Force, is a fighter pilot with 30 plus years of experience. He is a Qualified Flying Instructor has trained ab-initio trainee pilots and budding fighter pilots of the Indian Air Force.
He has vast experience in Defence, Operations, Training and Development, Strategic Planning, Operations Management, Project Management, Team Management, and Leadership. He also has a keen interest in contemporary Geopolitics and has a deep understanding of Defence and Startegic issues. He was nominated to visit Singapore and present ‘India’s Strategic Security Perspectives and Concerns’ to the Director General of Military Intelligence Singapore. He was a faculty at the prestigious College of Defence Management, Secunderabad, Institute of Aerospace Medicine, Bangalore and was Associate Professor at East Point College Bangalore. His teaching experience includes six years in management and four years in aviation subjects for students pursuing MD course Aerospace Medicine.
He has organised national level seminar on leadership at College of Defence Magement, and has organized various seminars on subjects pertaining to Strategic Defence Issues and Defence Intelligenbce.
He holds a Master’s degree and PhD in Management Studies from Osmania University Hyderabad.
In an attempt to serve the underprivileged, he has been associated with ‘Kutumbam’, an orphanage for boys at Hyderabad and at Bangalore, is associated with Cheshire home for physically challenged girls.
As a hobby he mentors students. A keen golfer, plays badminton and participates in long distance runs.
