Prof. Dr. V. Murugan started his teaching career in 1988 as Lecturer at J.S.S College of Pharmacy, Ooty, Tamil Nadu. He holds Ph.D in Medicinal Chemistry on Cancer from the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai in 2005. He has appointed as a Principal, Dayananda Sagar College of Pharmacy, Bengaluru in May – 2006. He is supervising several post graduates and Ph.D levels. He has externally examined a number of Ph.D thesis from other Universities. He has awarded training fellowship for the year 2015 on Mineral processing and Benefication at Johannesburg, South Africa by the Department of Science and Technology, New Delhi.
