Dr. Yogesh Kalegowda
Assistant Professor
Presently working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Physics. He received his Ph.D. in Applied Science, under supervision of Prof. Sarah Harmer from Ian Wark Research Institute (IWRI), University of South Australia, Australia. After that he moved to Hanyang University, South Korea to do his postdoctoral research aimed at understanding the PChem properties of inorganic and metal oxide nanoparticles. He has 5 years of research experience and published several research articles in reputed international journals. He awarded University president merit scholarship (UniSA) in the year 2009.
Research interest : spectroscopy, spectrometry, microscopy, physical vapour deposition techniques (magnetron sputtering/Ebeamevaporation) to fabricate advanced 2D materials having applications in spintronics, electrode materials and sensor devises.
