Department Advisory Committee (DAC)
In an attempt to bring about continuous improvement, DAC has been formed. The DAC consists of faculty members of the department, academicians from other institution, resource persons from Industry, Invitees (alumni and students). The committee meets once in a semester to review & monitor the development of the department and recommend/advise it on the steps to be taken for its balanced growth. Following are the members of the DAC.

Roles and responsibilities of the Departmental Advisory Committee (DAC)
- Study and suggest improvement in all the academic activities in the department
- Recommend standard practices
- Encourage industry-institute interactions to bridge curriculum gaps and suggest initiatives to enhance employability skill sets
- Provide suggestions in the articulation of PEOs, PSOs and COs
- Provide guidelines in enrichment of curriculum , delivery mechanism and assessment
- Recommend the topics beyond the syllabus/value added training courses and additional laboratory experiments to meet PEOs.
- Propose necessary action plan for skill development of students, required for entrepreneurship development and quality improvement.
