An industrial Visit was organized by the School for the final year BSc students on 14th- 16th September, 2017. The three-day visit was done to improve the practical knowledge of the students. The companies visited were:

Vipragen – animal house facilities, concept of clean and dirty corridor, autopsy room, tissue processing, staining and viewing under microscope.

Proseta – Cell culture facilities, cold room, pharmacetucial analysis of drug samples.

Wellison Nutraceuticals – Production of algal mass from lab to field, collection of mass, freeze drying and formation into capsules

Radhoor Plantations Pvt Ltd – tea drying, cutting, curing of tea leaves through pressing and rolling, drying, separating fine dust by cyclone separator, separation by size and packing.

MS Swaminathan Research Centre – identification of the unique flora and fauna of the Western Ghats.
