The ICSSR sponsored Research Methodology Workshop was conducted from January 23rd to February 1st, 2019. The inauguration of the workshop was done by the honourable Vice Chancellor Dr.A.N.N Murthy. The program was designed in such a way that it catered to the needs of all the researchers starting from the beginners to the researchers who are in the completion stage. All together we had 20 resource persons representing different parts of the state and from outside states covering all the main aspects of the research.

Swami Vivekananda's birthday is celebrated as National Youth India on 12 Jan every year across the Nation. This special day is widely celebrated in schools and colleges with a stream of activities including processions, speeches, music, youth conventions, seminars, Yogasanas, presentations, competitions in essay-writing, recitations and sports. All the activities shall impart the lectures, writings and essays of Swami Vivekananda and his Master Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa.

School of Commerce and Management Studies, Dayananda Sagar University has organized a useful workshop for all the aspiring scholars, M Phil students and research scholars. The detailed 10 days workshop will be starting from 23rd Jan to 1st February 2019 at PGDM block, Kumaraswamy Layout, Dayananda Sagar University, Bangalore.

The workshop will emphasize more on the Business Research Skills Enhancement and intensive proposal writing for M.Phil, Ph.D, PDF scholars. The workshop is very well scheduled with presentations, expert talks, activities and interactive sessions with all the participants. Dayananda Sagar University is thankful to Indian Council of Social Science Research for sponsoring the event.

It was an immense pleasure to have a discussion by Ambassador Dr Deepak Vohra on “Global Megatrends” – How our world is likely to be in the next twenty years. The event was organized by School Of Commerce And Management Studies, Dayananda Sagar University for all the young & aspiring commerce and business professionals of DSU.

It was held on 02nd Jan 2019 at 10.45 AM at CD Sagar Auditorium, Dayananda Sagar University, Kumaraswamy Layout Bangalore.

The speech by the veteran speaker Dr Deepak Vohra was very informative and helped all our students to see the business world from a different horizon with a hint on upcoming trends in the next twenty years. Our deans, professors and students are thankful for such detailed talk and an opportunity to meet an inspiring person like Dr Vohra.
