A workshop on "Advanced Electrotherapy" was organized by the College of Physiotherapy, DSU, Dr. Mahesh Pembasani, MPT ( sports medicine) was the resource person. He gave an overview of a range of Electrotherapy modalities, their indications, contraindications, a particular type of electric current used and the various output in terms of waveforms given by the modalities. He also introduced two new models, Combination therapy ( IFT and ultrasound) and Wireless stimulation machine. He gave detailed information about its usage with a session dedicated to hands-on practice. The session turned out to be very interesting and informative.
