TRAINING AND PLACEMENT INSIGHT
“Success is not an activity but a process”. The Training and Placement department at Dayananda Sagar University thus facilitates an array of skill based activities which enhances knowledge, employability skills, core competencies, industry connections and ethics needed for successful placements. The department is thus instrumental in helping students live their dream.
The placement department incorporates domain specific industry internships and projects across all courses. The periodic industry interactions and visits help students to apply theoretical knowledge, develop industry–specific competencies, and keep abreast of emerging technological trends which add to their confidence and competence. The hackathon events, guest lectures, seminars and workshops by industry experts help students gain cutting-edge technologies, real world insights, networking opportunities to align expectations and make a career.
A distinguishing factor is that our memorandum of understandings, both with national and international organizations, help students to achieve accelerated career pathways.
Success in modern workplace requires more than just technical knowledge. Aligning to this belief and values in not just enabling an education that empower students technologically but be dynamic and develop crucial life skills in an ever demanding business world; DSU has taken training and placement opportunities to the next level that is more than just an employment. Dayananda Sagar University has a well-established and centralized training division - Centre of Innovation and Leadership (CIL) to bridge the gap between Academics and Corporate realities.
The soft skill development training programs are learner-centered and action–oriented with high impact learning experiences to help our students achieve professional success and personal happiness. These customized skill enhancement certified training programs; for different schools of studies, not only help students acquire skills to be employed but also develop attitudes and attributes leading to an overall personality development.
