Dr. Abdul Haq Nalband

Associate Professor

Dr. Abdul Haq Nalband is an Associate Professor in Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) at the School of Engineering, Dayananda Sagar University. He completed his B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering and M.Tech. in Communication Systems from the Visvesvaraya Technological University in 2010 and 2014, respectively. He earned his Ph.D. in 5G Technologies from REVA University in 2022. Dr. Abdul Haq has over 11 years of teaching experience, seven years of research experience, and one year of industry experience. In addition to his academic roles, he has undertaken various administrative responsibilities, such as skill development and Industrial connect, nodal officer for NBA and NAAC accreditations.

Dr Abdul Haq recently completed the Visiting Postdoctoral Fellowship in Cyber Security from City, University of London, UK. He has published more than 20 research articles in indexed Journals and conference. He has published 3 patents, out of which one international patent is granted for his innovation. Dr. Abdul Haq is a Member of the IEEE, USA, a Life Member of the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE, India), and Associate member of IETE, India. He has funded projects to his credit in the areas of wireless and mobile communication, currently he is working on a project ‘Protocols for reconfigurable communication system on ultra-massive MIMO architecture’, funded by ISRO. His student projects explore the areas of in 5G and Beyond, Artificial Intelligence, and IoT Security.
