With the government initiatives such as Make In India, Local for Global, Atmnirbhar Bharat, there is a huge impetus on design of new products and experiences. Design, therefore, is a sunrise sector presenting lucrative opportunities for Indian youth.
Trans-Media, is another lucrative area that taps into the design of media in physical and digital space. It has wide applications in sectors such as printing, amination, gaming and merchandizing with each sector having immense business potential.
In this context, Dayananda Sagar University initiated B.Des. programme to nurture innovators and entrepreneurs in the domains of new product development, user experience, digital and print media, animation and gaming.
