Assistant Professor

Prof. Ajith Kumar B, is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) at the School of Engineering, Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, India. Prior to joining DSU, he worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence & Data Science at GRT Institute of Engineering and Technology, Tiruttani, Tamil Nadu. He was one of the foundational contributors to the Large Language Models (LLM) division at Digitwin Technology Pvt. Ltd., Chennai, where he primarily worked on natural language-to-NoSQL query generation and Document AI solutions. He was also associated with the Research and Technology Development Group at Ace Designers Ltd., Bengaluru, contributing to projects involving real-time CNC data for thermal error compensation.

He earned his Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Panimalar Engineering College, Chennai, and his Master of Technology in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning from Ramaiah University of Applied Sciences, Bengaluru. With over five months of teaching experience and more than one year of industrial experience, he has published his research in an IEEE conference, contributed to an Elsevier book chapter, and continues to actively engage in research and innovation. His research interests include Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Generative AI, Computer Vision, Computational Intelligence, Non-linear Modelling, Vibration Analysis, and Data-Driven Engineering Applications.
