Mr. Ayush Yadav is an academician and researcher in Computer Science and Engineering with research interests Mobile Application Security, Malware Analysis, Vulnerability Assessment, Database Systems and Image Processing. He is currently serving as an Associate Professor at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, where he is actively involved in teaching, research, and academic administration for undergraduate.
He holds an M.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Hamirpur, Himachal Pradesh. His postgraduate research focused on Android application security and vulnerability assessment. His dissertation, titled “Security Vulnerability Analysis of Android Applications Used in India: A Comprehensive Static Analysis Approach,” presented a systematic security evaluation of widely used Android applications across healthcare, food delivery, grocery, and fitness sectors. The research employed the Mobile Security Framework (MobSF) along with CWE classification, CVSS scoring, and OWASP Mobile Top 10 standards to identify and analyse security vulnerabilities in mobile applications.
He completed his B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from G.R.D. Institute of Management and Technology. During his academic and professional journey, he has developed expertise in cybersecurity, software development, data analysis, and web technologies. He has also worked as a Frontend Developer, gaining practical experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress, and modern web development practices.
His technical expertise includes Python Programming, SQL Databases, Android Security Analysis, Vulnerability Assessment, Data Visualization, Power BI, Tableau, Web Development, and Software Engineering. He has worked on projects related to Online Voting Systems, Data Analytics, and Mobile Application Security.
Mr. Ayush actively participates in research and professional development activities and is keen on collaborative and interdisciplinary research. His current areas of interest include Android Application Security, Mobile Security, Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT) , Database Systems and Image Processing, Machine Learning for Security, and Secure Software Engineering. He aims to contribute to the development of secure, reliable, and intelligent software systems through teaching, research, and innovation.
