Ms. Debopama Basu

Assistant Professor

Ms. Debopama Basu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru. She holds an M.Tech. in System-on-Chip (SoC) Design from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Palakkad and completed her M.Tech research thesis from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur.

Her research interests include Hardware Security, Side-Channel Analysis, Post-Quantum Cryptography, Computer Architecture, VLSI Design, Embedded Systems, and FPGA-based System Design.

Prior to transitioning into academia, Ms. Basu worked as a Software Engineer at Cognizant, where she was involved in secure application development, vulnerability remediation, and Java Spring Boot microservices for fintech applications.

Her teaching and research interests span Computer Architecture, Digital Design, Hardware Security, Cryptography, VLSI Systems, Embedded Systems, and High-Performance Computing. She is passionate about interdisciplinary research in secure computing and mentoring students in emerging areas of computer engineering.
