Dr. Bipin Kumar Rai currently working as a Professor & Associate Chair in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering, SoE at DSU. He has done his Ph.D. from Banasthali University, Rajasthan and M. Tech. & B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering. Dr. Bipin Kumar Rai has 20+ years teaching experience in different renowned Institutions. His areas of interest are Cryptography & Information Security, Blockchain. He has published 55+ research papers in WoS/ESCI/Scopus indexed Journals/Conferences (Scopus indexed), 5 books and 10 book chapters in Springer/CRC Press Taylor & Francis Group. He has worked as a Guest Editor/Reviewer of several SCI/Scopus Indexed Journals. He actively shares and learns as Session chair/Reviewer/Presenter/Speaker in several reputed International Conferences/Workshops/FDPs/Symposiums.

Dr. Bipin Kumar Rai is dedicated to fostering academic excellence and has a proven track record in curriculum development and mentoring students at undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels. He has delivered invited talks on Blockchain and Cryptography in numerous institutions, both nationally and internationally. In addition to his academic endeavours, Dr. Rai has worked in various administrative roles, including Dean Academics, HoD (NBA Accredited Programme), SPOC (SIH 2017 to SIH2022), Convenor of National Level Hackathons (DSU DEVHACK, Hacknovate @ABESIT). He has expertise to inculcate outcome-based education which is essential for NBA/NAAC.

Dr. Bipin Kumar Rai actively engaged in professional development and is an esteemed Senior member of IEEE (SMIEEE), member of the Computer Society of India (CSI), Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), and ACM.
