Dr. Kumar Dilip

Dr. Kumar Dilip is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. He holds his Ph.D. and M.Tech from Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi, with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, where his research focused on Metaheuristic techniques for solving complex optimization problems. With over 15 years of diverse experience in academia, research, and industry, Dr. Kumar is a dedicated educator and researcher.
He has an impressive publication record, with contributions to top-tier journals and conferences, including IEEE Transactions and Ad Hoc Networks. His scholarly work extends to international conferences, book chapters, and patents. Dr. Kumar has received multiple best paper awards at international conferences and has served as a reviewer and session chair for these events. Additionally, he has delivered multiple talks in Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) and Seminars. He has also served as a visiting subject expert for esteemed government organizations and has managed projects funded by the Department of Science and Technology (DST).
Dr. Kumar is passionate about learning and exploring new and emerging technologies, such as deep learning models, nature-inspired and quantum-inspired computing. He is eager to collaborate with like-minded individuals to address real-world problems using innovative technological solutions.
