Dr. Nayana Borah<

Assistant Professor

Dr. Nayana Borah is an Assistant Professor of Biotechnology at the School of Basic and Applied Sciences, Dayananda Sagar University. She achieved Bangalore University Gold medal in MSc and awarded with INSPIRE fellowship from Department of Science and technology, New Delhi. She earned her Ph.D. from Bangalore University, Bangalore, in 2020. Her doctoral research focused on “Isolation and characterization of efficient microalgae for Biofuel production”. Prior, she had worked in Jain University as Assistant Professor for four and half years (2021-2025).

Dr. Nayana Borah has a total of 30 research publications including research papers, review papers and book chapters in national and international peer-reviewed journals.
