Dr. Pramod Kumar Naik is an Engineering Professional with over 16 years of experience in Industry and Academia.

Currently working as Chairman (AI and Robotics Engineering), Dayananda Sagar University, Karnataka, India (Aug. 2021 - Present)

Worked as Data Scientist for Shell India Pvt Ltd Bangalore and worked on various project few to name is MADA

Worked as Lead Engineer (Mathworks Products) at CoreEL Technologies Pvt Ltd Bangalore for 3 years and was resource person for almost 65 Workshops/FDP across PAN India.

Worked as Assistant Professor in VTU various affiliated colleges

Worked as Coordinator of BOE for laboratory practical exam for E&EE board of Belgaum region for academic year 2013-14.

Worked as Valuation Coordinator at Central Valuation Center VTU for the academic year 2012.

Has Completed MBA, Liverpool Business School, UK (Dual Degree Program from IMT and LMJU) (2023 - 2024). Also P.G. in Management, Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, Delhi (2023). Has completed my Ph.D for VTU, Belgaum with research title, “A study and analysis of Performance Metrics of DWT Processor” and BE and M-Tech from VTU Belgaum. Has done his M-Tech project at Centre for Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, DRDO, Bangalore. Currently working in the area of AI Algorithms on GPU and TPU. Dr. Pramod Kumar Naik has published a total of 43 papers: 28 in International conferences and journals, and 15 in national conferences and journals. He holds 8 patents: 4 Indian and 4 South African full grant patents. Additionally, he has contributed 4 book chapters.
