Dr. Prashant Tiwari

Associate Professor

Dr. Prashant Tiwari is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Pharmacology, College of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, India. He has started his professional journey at the School of Pharmacy, Chouksey Engineering College, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh in the year 2011. Awarded his Ph.D. during the year 2019. He has 12 years of teaching and research experience. He completed his M. Pharm in Pharmacology from Siksha O Anusandhan (Deemed to be) University, Bhubaneshwar, Odisha in the year 2010 and B. Pharm from Guru Ghasidas Central University, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh in the year 2008. He was a regular fellow of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), New Delhi. In addition, He has a Professional Diploma in Clinical Research and a Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application. He is a lifetime member of multiple professional bodies such as Laboratory Animal Sciences Association of India (LASAI), Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India (APTI), Society of Pharmaceutical Education (SPER), and Indian Pharma Educational Society (IPES). He is a Registered Pharmacist at Chhattisgarh State Pharmacy Council, Raipur, India. He has several awards in his credit such as Young Scientist Award, Young Talent Award, Pharma Mitra Award, Best Teacher Award, and Best Researchers Award. He is also a reviewer and editorial board member of several journals. He is author of more than 68 scientific articles in national and International journals. He has authored 4 Pharmacy Books, 6 Book Chapters, and 6 Indian patents. He is supervising 4 Ph.D. Research Scholars at Dayananda Sagar University. His current Google scholar h-Index is 12; i15-Index No. of citation 533. His research areas include Neuroscience and Metabolic disorders.
