Dr. Prashantha Kumar

Dr. Prashantha Kumar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Aerospace Engineering at Dayananda Sagar University. He was a recipient of National Post-doctoral Fellowship (NPDF) from Department of Science and Technology – Science Engineering Research Board (DST-SERB) at IIT Madras. He was executed several funded projects as principal investigator to develop the indigenous technologies. His research interests include functional thin-films sensors for space applications, atomic scale materials characterizations, 1D, 2D Materials processing for wide range of structural and functional applications, LASER tuning and processing of materials for health care, mobility and defence applications. He has several international research collaborations at USA and UK to execute the research projects strategically. In addition, He is investigating the real time social challenges to cater world class solutions leads to several start-ups and entrepreneurships in real-time.
