Dr. Ramesh S is a distinguished academician and researcher with a prominent career spanning across various domains of Computer Science and Engineering. Currently serving as a Professor of CSE at the School of Engineering, Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, India, Dr. Ramesh has been a key contributor to the academic, research, and innovation landscape in his field.

Dr. Ramesh S completed his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University, Chennai, in 2015, where he also earned both his M.Tech and B.Tech degrees. His extensive expertise encompasses Deep Learning, Cryptography, IoT Networking, Volunteered Computing, MANET, Wireless Networks, and Optimization Techniques, with a special focus on advancing technological frontiers through research and application.

An active researcher, Dr. Ramesh S has authored over 120 peer-reviewed publications in prestigious journals (SCI and Scopus-indexed) and presented his work at numerous international conferences. In addition to his journal contributions, he has written three books, edited one, and contributed chapters to ten academic books, alongside publishing eight monographs.

Dr. Ramesh S research achievements are complemented by his role as an inventor, holding 10 Indian patents, 3 Australian patents, and 2 copyrights. His innovative approach to solving complex problems in areas such as IoT networking has earned him international acclaim, including recognition as an Innovative Researcher by the World Research Council and the American Medical Council in 2020.

He has been a guiding force for over 100 graduate students, supervising 45 M.Tech and 75 B.Tech projects, as well as successfully guiding 4 Ph.D. scholars to completion. His role as an examiner for Ph.D. thesis evaluations further showcases his academic expertise. Beyond teaching, Dr. Ramesh S actively contributes to curriculum development, having served as a member of the Board of Studies (BoS) and the Board of Examiners (BoE). He has also been an influential resource person in national-level Faculty Development Programs (FDPs) and Short-Term Training Programs (STTPs).

His dynamic teaching methodology has been widely recognized for its effectiveness in fostering innovation, critical thinking, and research capabilities among students. For his dedication to academic excellence, Dr. Ramesh S has received three prestigious international awards for teaching and research. In addition to his academic accomplishments, Dr. Ramesh S has successfully completed several consultancy projects and continues to play a vital role in shaping the future of research and development in his field.
