Dr. Savitha Hiremath

Associate Professor

Dr. Savitha Hiremath is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. She has completed her Bachelor of Engineering from Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering and Master of Engineering from UVCE, Bangalore University, Bengaluru. She got awarded a Ph.D from Bangalore University in the area of “Sentiment Analysis”. She has published around 13 research papers in International Journals, conferences and a Book chapter. She has filed and published three patents and also published a Book in Lambert publications. Her area of interest are Data Mining, Natural Language Processing and Data Analytics. She has more than 14 years of teaching experience and worked in institutions like PES University, CMR Institute of Technology. She has worked on Innovation and Entrepreneurship Projects with undergraduate students. She has given Tech talks on “Efficient Techniques for Sentiment Analysis”, “Exploratory Data Analysis” and a workshop on “Latex”.
