Associate Professor
Dr. Shadab Siddiqui is an accomplished academician, researcher, and educator with over 16 years of combined teaching and industry experience. He currently serves as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Dayananda Sagar University.
He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering in 2021, where his doctoral research focused on Performance Optimization using Load Balancing Techniques in Cloud Computing. He completed his M. Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering with First Division Honors in 2014 and obtained his B.Tech. in Information Technology in 2006.
His research interests encompass Artificial Intelligence, Explainable AI (XAI), Deep Learning, Neuromorphic Computing, Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, Healthcare Informatics, and Computer Networks. Dr. Siddiqui has published more than 34 research papers in high-impact SCI, SCIE, ESCI, and Scopus-indexed journals and international conferences. His recent work focuses on AI-driven healthcare systems, medical image analysis, federated learning, blockchain-enabled healthcare analytics, and intelligent diagnostic frameworks.
An active researcher and mentor, he has successfully supervised doctoral scholars in areas such as cervical cancer detection, skin disease diagnosis, and deep learning-based medical image analysis. He is also the inventor and co-inventor of multiple national and international patents related to IoT, smart sensing technologies, environmental monitoring, and AI-powered healthcare solutions.
Dr. Siddiqui is a Senior Member of IEEE, a member of the ACM and the IEEE Computer Society, and serves as a reviewer and editorial board member for several reputed international journals. He actively contributes to academic leadership through conference organization, curriculum development, research mentoring, and innovation-driven initiatives. With a strong commitment to excellence in teaching, research, and professional service, Dr. Siddiqui continues to advance cutting-edge research and inspire the next generation of engineers, researchers, and technology leaders.
