Dr. Hariharan S
Assistant Professor
Dr. Hariharan S. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Dayanand Sagar University. He has over four years of research experience in mathematical modeling and differential equations, with expertise in numerical techniques and the study of infectious disease dynamics. His research primarily focuses on epidemic models, time-fractional differential systems, and reaction-diffusion systems.
He has authored more than ten research articles in reputable, Web of Science-indexed journals classified as Q1 or Q2. Dr. Hariharan holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics from Bharathiar University and earned his Ph.D. from the Department of Applied Sciences at the National Institute of Technology Goa. His doctoral thesis, titled "Studies on the Qualitative Analysis of Various Time-Dependent Disease Dynamic Models," explores advanced mathematical techniques to analyze disease spread.
He was awarded the SERB travel grant to present his research at the National University of Singapore. Additionally, he has successfully cleared both the GATE and CSIR-UGC JRF examinations, demonstrating his strong academic and research capabilities.
