Ms. Himanshi Dixit is Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Dayananda Sagar University. She has done her M.Tech in Data Science and Engineering from Dr B R Ambedkar National Institute of Technology (NIT), Jalandhar and graduated in B.E. Computer Engineering from Government Engineering College, Gandhinagar.

Her areas of academic interest include Data Science, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics. Her postgraduate research was on deep learning models-based hand gesture recognition using surface electromyography (sEMG), especially on developing efficient temporal convolutional network architectures for healthcare and human-computer interaction applications.

Her passion lies in teaching, research, mentoring students, and fostering innovation, analytical thinking, and practical problem-solving in computer science and data-driven technologies.
