Dr Jitendra Jaiswal

Associate Professor

Dr Jitendra Jaiswal is currently serving as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru. He holds a Ph.D. in Data Analytics and taught across engineering, science, and management disciplines. His teaching philosophy centers around bridging the gap between theory and real-world application through hands-on learning, analytical tools, and industry-driven case studies. He is also actively involved in mentoring student research, curriculum enhancement, and interdisciplinary projects.

Dr Jaiswal’s research interests span AI, machine learning, data-driven decision-making, and the societal impact of intelligent systems, particularly in sectors like education, healthcare, and finance. He aims to contribute meaningfully to both academic research and the development of responsible, future-ready professionals in the evolving AI landscape.

Prior to his doctoral studies, he completed his M. Tech. degree in Operations Research, that is, interdisciplinalry of Applied Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science. He earned his B. Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering, which laid the groundwork for his career in data science and artificial intelligence.

Dr Jaiswal has authored several papers published in reputed SCI/SCIE/Scopus, Web of Science indexed journals and international conferences. He also actively contributes to the research community as a reviewer for prominent journals, including areas such as Statistical and Machine Learning approaches Exploratory Data Analysis.
