Mr. Kishor Malakar
Assistant Professor
Mr. Kishor Malakar is a passionate educator, researcher and developer, currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Data Science at Dayananda Sagar University (DSU). With a strong academic background and hands-on experience in software development, trajectory prediction, and intelligent systems, he brings a multidimensional perspective to both teaching and research.
He holds an M.Tech degree in Data Sciece and B.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering, both from National Institute of Technology, Mizoram. During his academic journey, Kishor demonstrated consistent excellence in interdisciplinary research. His research has been recognized through multiple publications, including a book chapter titled “Edge Intelligence Based Social Robotics: Planning and its Applications” published by CRC Press (Taylor & Francis), and a conference paper “Human Trajectory Forecasting using Y-net, Transformer Networks, and Bayesian Neural Stochastic Differential Equations” accepted at RCSC 2025. His work focuses on AI-driven human behavior modeling, robotics, and predictive systems.
Kishor has actively contributed to rural technology development through a collaborative internship with IIT Madras, addressing challenges in waste management, education, and energy in remote regions of Mizoram. His technical expertise spans a range of tools and frameworks including Python, Java, ReactJS, JavaScript, MongoDB, MySQL, Apache Hadoop, Pandas, NumPy, and Tailwind CSS. His core interests lie in Trajectory Forecasting, Web Development, Social Robotics, Human-Centered AI, and Applied Machine Learning.
With a strong interest in teaching, research, and development, Kishor Malakar aims to foster innovation, mentor young technologists, and contribute meaningfully to the academic and research ecosystem at Dayananda Sagar University.
