Prof. Maitri Sanjay Shah is a passionate academician, researcher, and Artificial Intelligence professional with over two years of experience in teaching, mentoring, and research. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science, specializing in the Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AI & DS) domain at Dayananda Sagar University. She completed her M.Tech in Computer Science Engineering (Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning) from PDPM IIITDM Jabalpur, where she maintained an outstanding CPI of 9.5/10 and earned recognition as a Batch Rank Holder in three consecutive semesters.

Her areas of expertise include Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Image Processing, and Data Science. Her research work focuses on Face-Mask Surveillance using Deep Learning techniques, contributing to intelligent monitoring systems and public safety applications. She has also worked extensively on AI-driven solutions for industrial automation, medical image analysis, and computer vision applications, delivering significant improvements in efficiency and accuracy.

Prof. Maitri possesses strong technical proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras, OpenCV, and LabVIEW. Throughout her academic and professional journey, she has guided students through laboratory sessions, project development, and research-oriented learning while fostering innovation, critical thinking, and practical problem-solving skills. She is committed to advancing education and research in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science while contributing to the development of industry-ready professionals and impactful technological solutions.
