Mayank Kumar is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru. With a strong academic foundation and practical experience, he is passionate about bridging the gap between theory and real-world applications in computer science.

Mayank holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the Central University of Haryana and has completed his M.Tech from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. His areas of expertise include Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, and Cloud Computing. He has hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools and platforms such as Azure Cloud, Power Platform, Langchain, LLMs, and PyTorch.

In addition to his industry experience as a cloud developer and data analyst, Mayank has actively contributed to research in the fields of generative AI and vehicle classification. He has published in reputed journals and international conferences, including IEEE.

As a faculty member, he is driven by the vision to inspire young minds, promote interdisciplinary research, and cultivate a strong learning environment that prepares students for modern tech challenges. His teaching philosophy is rooted in making complex concepts simple, interactive, and application-oriented.
