Transformative Leadership & Strategic Alignment
The workshop on Transformative Leadership & Strategic Alignment dealt with areas of management that are critical for managerial success. The main themes of the workshop were:

3. Navigating a Cultural Minefield
4. Managing Innovative Teams
The resource persons have deep subject matter expertise and great diversity in industry experience. Major.Gen. George (Indian Army –Rtd.) spoke on leadership and conflict management.
Prof.Nagaraj Subbarao threw light on the business issues of cross cultural management and models in delineating one national cultural from another. His case study dealt with the cultures of the Netherlands and Mexico.
Prof. Tejas Rao, dealt with the concept of Strategy and brought in the practice of Hoshin Kanri (also called Policy Deployment) is a method for ensuring that the strategic goals of a company drive progress and action at every level within that company. This eliminates the waste that comes from inconsistent direction and poor communication.
Prof.Keshava Prasad conducted a simulated activity on the implementation of strategy and the practice of agile teams in innovating under pressure. He showed how strategy and agile teams can lead to high team performance and productivity.
The workshop was well attended with major industries participating.
