Assistant Professor

Ms.Nivetha R is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) at the School of Engineering, Dayananda Sagar University.

She completed her B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering and M.E. in Data Science from the Avinashilingam Institute for Home Science and Higher Education for Women in 2021 and 2023, respectively. She has over nine months of teaching experience and 10 months of industry experience. Previously, she held academic positions at Bannari Amman Institute of Technology. In addition to her academic roles, she has undertaken various administrative responsibilities, including serving as the Industrial Collaborations Coordinator, CoE and Internship Coordinator, BoS Coordinator, and Patent Coordinator for the entire institute.

During her industry experience working in Intellectual Property Rights (GOI), she provided technical and scientific assistance to the Controller of Patents and Designs by attending hearings and drafting patents. She also has experience working on the Smart Cookie Project Implementation, where she delivered over 150 presentations in colleges nationwide regarding the Smart Cookie Reward Program (AICTE). She successfully took the project live and implemented it at AICTE Headquarters in New Delhi.

Her research interests lie in the fields of Deep Learning, Blockchain, and Medical Image Processing.
