Ms. Prabhjot Kaur is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering with a Master's degree (M.E.) in Computer Science and Engineering, specializing in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. She is passionate about teaching, research, and mentoring students in emerging areas of computing and intelligent systems.
Her research interests include Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Computer Vision, Generative Adversarial Networks (GANs), Medical Image Analysis, and Artificial Intelligence applications in healthcare. She has actively contributed to research in image captioning, disease detection, and AI-driven healthcare solutions, with ongoing work in areas such as PCOS detection, Pulmonary Disease detection, Down Syndrome detection, and Digital Twin technologies for women's health.
With several years of teaching experience, she teaches core computer science subjects and guides undergraduate students in academic projects and research activities. She is committed to fostering innovation, critical thinking, and practical problem-solving skills among students.
Apart from academics and research, Ms. Kaur actively contributes to departmental and institutional activities. She has successfully organized national-level Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), hackathons, workshops, seminars, and technical events, promoting industry-academia collaboration and professional development among students and faculty members.
Her goal is to bridge the gap between cutting-edge AI research and real-world applications while inspiring students to pursue excellence in technology and innovation.
