Dr. Prasadini Mahapatra
Assistant Professor
Dr. Prasadini Mahapatra is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics at Dayananda Sagar University, with over four years and three months of teaching experience across different universities. She holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from NIT Rourkela, where her research focused on wavelets and related functions on the Cantor dyadic group and Vilenkin group. She also earned an M.Sc. in Mathematics from NIT Rourkela and a B.Sc. (Hons) from Govt. Autonomous College, Rourkela. She was awarded the IMA PG Scholarship during her postgraduate studies.
Dr. Mahapatra has held academic positions at Chinmaya Vishwa Vidyapeeth in Kerala, the Institute of Advanced Research in Gandhinagar, and colleges in Odisha. At the Institute of Advanced Research, she also served as a Research Coordinator and held the role of Secretary in the Cultural Committee, contributing to both academic and extracurricular development. In addition to her teaching roles, she has supported academic coordination and curriculum enhancement. Her research work has been published in reputed SCI, SCIE, and Scopus-indexed journals and conference proceedings. She has participated in various national and international academic events, including the INDO-GERMAN Workshop at IIT Tirupati, and served as Guest Editor for a special issue on “Mathematical Methods of Economics and Finance.” She remains committed to quality teaching, student mentoring, and holistic academic engagement in the mathematical sciences.
