Rakesh S Katarey

Professor

During his last 25 years of professional and academic experience, Prof. Rakesh Katarey has set up some of the better known mass communication institutes. An award-winning documentary filmmaker at prestigious national and international festivals, he has also guided students into winning national acclaim and awards.

He has also lectured post graduates at the Birmingham Institute of Art & Design (BIAD), UK and was a special invitee to speak on the social consequences on New Media Technologies at the Royal Television Society, UK. Besides publications in refereed international journals like Media Asia, Mr. Katarey has written full-length analyses on media, terrorism and conflict in national newspapers like The Hindu.

He is an expert on News Studies, Broadcast Media/Film and Rhetorical Analysis.
