Dr. Prosanta Sarkar

Dr. Prosanta Sarkar is an assistant professor in the Department of Mathematics, Dayananda Sagar University. He completed M.Sc. in Pure Mathematics in 2014 under Burdwan University. Qualified National Eligibility Test for Junior Research Fellow (NET-JRF) (Conducted by Joint CSIR-UGC, India), June 2016. He obtained his Ph.D. degree in Mathematics from the National Institute of Technology Durgapur, West Bengal, India in 2021. His research area is Graph Theory and his research interests include Chemical Graph Theory, Graph Topological Indices, Algebraic Graph Theory, etc. He has already published more than 15 papers in some reputed international peer-reviewed journals. He has also 3 book chapters and a conference paper. He serving as an Editorial Board Member of Scientific Reports, Nature Portfolio. He is an active reviewer of some reputed journals such as Journal of Mathematical Chemistry, Journal of Inequalities and Applications, Discover Applied Sciences, Polycyclic Aromatic Compounds, Notes on Number Theory and Discrete Mathematics, Arabian Journal of Chemistry, Journal of Super Computing, AKCE International Journal of Graphs and Combinatorics, Science Progress, Journal of Biomolecular Structure & Dynamics, etc.
