Dr Ramesh Amugothu
Assistant Professor
Dr. Ramesh A., Member IEEE, is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Dayananda Sagar University, Bangalore, India. He received his Ph.D. from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal, India, in 2025. He completed his M.Tech. in VLSI Design from NIT Surathkal in 2016, and his B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering from JNTU Hyderabad in 2013. He has over three years of teaching and research experience at various institutions across India. He has published more than 10 research papers in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences. Dr. Ramesh is also an active reviewer for several indexed journals and conferences, including those published by IEEE.
Dr. Ramesh was awarded First Prize in the Research Confluence Award during his Ph.D. His research interests include RF and Microwave Antennas, Artificial Electromagnetic Metamaterials, Sensor and Absorber Circuits, and Antenna Optimization for defense and biomedical applications.
He has received a Certificate of Appreciation and a Research Incentive for his contribution to the COMSOL Multiphysics Training Course on Optimization Techniques by COMSOL Multiphysics Pvt. Ltd., and for the Python for Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning course by IIT Kanpur, in recognition of his research contributions in publishing quality journal papers.
