Assistant Professor

Shivamma D working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Data Science). She is pursuing Ph.D. in Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru. She completed her M.Tech from Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani (Rajasthan). Her academic degrees are bolstered by further academic study and qualification in Educational Technology. She has an extensive experience of 7 years in the field of Teaching, Research and Other technical functionary at India – UK collaborated ICMR funded Project “cVEDA”, a Grand Challenge project of ICMR in the National Institute of Mental Health And Neuro Science (NIMHANS), An Institute of National Importance, Government of India located at Bangalore. She worked as an IT Programmer/Data Analyst in NIMHANS Digital Academy, Virtual Knowledge Network (VKN) under Centre for Addiction Medicine, Department of Psychiatry enabling innumerable IT and Digital infrastructure establishments, training and research programs using blended learning model for various medical and mental health professionals across the country and with this academic learnings, she joined as an IT Officer under the SAMVAD Project, supported by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, at National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS), Bengaluru. She has published 1 International Journal of Innovative Technology and Exploring Engineering (IJITEE). She received an award for the best paper presentation in the National Conference organized by IIMC Hyderabad. Her research interests are in the area of Technology Enabled Digital Learning, Data Science, Machine Learning, Image Processing, Big Data and Data Analysis.
