Zaffar Mehdi Dar received his Master’s degree in Mathematics from Jamia Millia Islamia (A Central University), New Delhi, India. He has submitted his final doctoral thesis for the award of Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics at the School of Advanced Sciences, Vellore Institute of Technology, India.
His research centers on the numerical analysis of complex partial differential equations, with a particular emphasis on fractional models and virtual element methods. Zaffar’s work integrates computational techniques to investigate biomedical phenomena such as:
- Neurodegenerative disease progression
- Tumor Microenvironment dynamics
- Impulse Transport and Protein Misfolding Phenomena
He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and actively collaborates on interdisciplinary projects that bridge mathematics with life sciences and engineering. With his teaching experience of 3 years and consultancy projects for industries, the journey reflects a commitment to rigorous analysis, innovative modeling, and impactful scientific inquiry.
