Dr. Rupam Bhaduri, Professor (Research and Academics) in the AI & Robotics Engineering Department, along with his research scholars, has achieved a significant milestone with a publication in a prestigious Quartile-1 (Q1) journal. The paper, titled "Perovskite Solar Cell Stability Analysis Using Entropy-Based Support Vector Machine Learning," was published in Progress in Photovoltaics: Research and Applications (DOI: 10.1002/pip.3861), an SCI, Scopus, and WOS Indexed journal with an impressive Impact Factor of 8.0, by J. Wiley & Sons, USA & UK.
Dr. Rupam Bhaduri, Professor (Research and Acad.) in the AI & Robotics Engineering Department, participated as a distinguished jury member on 10th January 2025 at the DERBI Foundation. Applications under the EV & Mobility and CleanTech sectors for the NIDHI PRAYAS (National Initiative for Developing and Harnessing Innovations – Promoting and Accelerating Young and Aspiring Innovators & Startups) program were assessed. This initiative by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, provides grants, mentorship, and prototyping facilities to early-stage innovators and startups. Evaluations were carried out based on innovation potential, feasibility of prototypes, and socio-economic impact, contributing to fostering entrepreneurship and technological advancement.
Dr. Pramod Kumar Naik, Chairman, AI and Robotics Engineering, DSU, Bengaluru has presented a technical talk on “Integrating AI with IoT: Smart Solutions for a Connected World” which was a part of ATAL Online Six-day Faculty Development Programme on “Deep Dive into AI: Latest Trends using Machine Learning and Deep Learning” conducted by School of Computer Science and Engineering, REVA University, Bengaluru-560064 from January 13th to 18th, 2025.

We are proud to share that Dr. Rupam Bhaduri has been awarded a Reviewer Certificate by International Transactions on Electrical Energy Systems (Wiley) for his valuable contribution in reviewing a manuscript during 2024. His commitment to academic excellence and peer-review integrity continues to enhance the research community.
Dr. Gangadhar T G published a research paper titled "Photocatalytic performance of silver-doped titanium dioxide (TiO₂) nanoparticles for environmental applications" in the SCOPUS-indexed journal Materials Technology (Volume 40, Issue 1, 2025), which is ranked in Quartile 2 (Q2) in the field. The research investigates the photocatalytic performance of silver-doped titanium dioxide (Ag-TiO₂) nanoparticles for potential environmental applications, particularly in pollution control and water treatment.
Dr. Bharath Kumar S from the Department of AI and Robotics Engineering has Published Q1 paper on the Intelligent Dust Suppression System for Dust Control in Mining Plant in the Journal of China University of Mining and Technology. The research work was a collaborative work with Prof. Harsha Vardhan, (Head, Department of Mining Engineering, National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal), Mr. Rajib Pal (Director General of Mines Safety, Ministry of Labour) and Mr. Malay Tikader (Ex Deputy Director, Directorate General of Mines Safety)
Dr. Bharath Kumar S from AI and Robotics published a journal paper entitled “Experimental and prediction analysis of separating blast furnace slag in the vibratory separator” in Canadian Metallurgical Quarterly, Taylor and Francis. This Paper is a Q2 (SCI, Scopus) publication.
Dr. Bharath Kumar S from AI and Robotics published a journal paper entitled “Comparison of the performance of indirect evaluation of flank wear for turning inconel-718 using the processed image and acoustic waves” in Surface Letter & Review. This Paper is a Q3(SCI, Scopus) publication.
Dr. Bharath Kumar S., Assistant Professor in the Department of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, has successfully published a Q2-ranked research paper titled “Augmented Lipid Biosynthesis in Native Fungus through Dual-Stage Optimization of Lignocellulosic Biomass Residue Pretreatment and Fermentation Conditions” in the reputed journal Biomass Conversion and Biorefinery, published by Springer. This publication highlights Dr. Bharath Kumar's interdisciplinary research contributions at the intersection of biotechnology and sustainable energy, showcasing innovation in biomass utilization and fungal lipid production.
