THE INDIAN SOCIETY OF THEORETICAL AND APPLIED MECHANICS
The Indian Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics(ISTAM), IIT Kharagpur was established in 1955 to provide a common platform to scientists, technologists and engineers to share and discuss current research work. ISTAM have been conducting international conference every year at various IITs, RECs, NITs, engineering colleges, reputed research centers and universities. The society encourages the young scientists and scholars by awards and publishing research papers in their souvenir volumes.
International conference for theoretical and applied mechanics of the year 2018 will be held at School of Engineering, Dayananda Sagar University, Bangalore. The university is a premier multi-disciplinary university, inherits six decades of legacy in providing education in engineering, computer applications, sciences, arts and commerce and management. The world-class research labs and incubation centers at the university have enabled a research oriented education to all students of different domains.

Travel and accommodation expenses are to be borne by the participants only. Participants have to arrange on their own for accommodation. However, limited accommodation will be provided for outstation delegates
