School of Commerce and Management Studies, Dayananda Sagar University, Bangalore in association with TechLawLogi Consulting LLP organized a workshop on 27 th February, 2018.

Dr. Pratima Narayan, Founder Partner, TechLawLogi Consulting conducted the workshop on the topic “E-Commerce – Legal Perspective”. Around 300 students of School of Commerce & Management actively participated in the workshop. Dr. Punith Cariappa, Dean – SCMS and other faculties were part of it apart from the students.

Dr. Pratima Narayan is a Doctorate in law from National Law School of India University as well as Advocate and Mediator for a long time. She accentuated on so many aspects in the workshop with attention on the key drivers to e-commerce growth, surge in consumer complaints, stages in e-commerce, legal compliance in e-commerce, significant disclosures and consumer protection. She also gave very useful advices on online shopping for the audience. It was an ideal session for the generation who are looking at e-commerce for countless needs and necessities. At the same time we cannot miss out on the prospects of business in e-commerce as Entrepreneurs.
