A briefing session on "The DSU Talent Search 2019"
A briefing session on "The DSU Talent Search 2019" was conducted on 31-10-2019 at CD Sagar auditorium. Prof. Janardhan, Pro Vice Chancellor, DSU addressed the students gathered about the importance of the program and the impact it can create for the students and society. All the dean's of schools under DSU poured more light on talent search program and motivated students to inspire school students to get benefited from the event.
World Food Day Celebration, 2019
World Food Day was celebrated at Dayananda Sagar University on 22nd October, 2019, jointly organised by AFSTI – Bangalore chapter, School of Basic and Applied Sciences, DSU and Department of Biotechnology, DSCE
REVA International Conference, 2019
Ms. Prakruthi P Acharya, Research Scholar from SBAS, won First Prize for oral presentation of her work on “Recycled Sardine skin waste for the extraction of collagen hydrolysates in biomimetic synthesis of nano-hydroxyapatite for coating bone implants”in the International Conference on Recent Advances in Applied Sciences held at REVA University, Bangalore on 17th -18th October, 2019.
Inter College throw ball championship, 2019
SBAS students Anusha H S, Tejashwini Singh M, Kavya K, Spandana A, Tajunnisa Chandana B R and Sanjana N won the first prize inter college throw ball championship held on 10-10-2019 at DSU campus.
Freshers Day Celebration-2019 (Parichaya-2K19)
M.Sc. and B.Sc. new students were welcomed by their senior batch students by celebrating freshers day. Parichaya-2K19, freshers day was celebrated on 01-10-2019 at P C Sagar auditorium, DSU. The new UG and PG students Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology and Genetics were introduced to the seniors by having welcome party.
