NASA Space Apps 2019 Global Nominees
Now in its 8th year, Space Apps is an international hackathon for coders, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, builders, technologists, and others in cities around the world, where teams engage with NASA’s free and open data to address real-world problems on Earth and in space. Space Apps 2019 included over 25,000 participants at more than 250 events in 75 countries.
After 3 days of hackathon which saw over 105 participants at Dayananda Sagar University, Innovative Campus, Kuldu gate competing against each other ,on 20th october we had first round of evaluation of NASA space app challenge, where 9 teams were shortlisted from Bangalore out of 25 teams. In the final round 2 teams got selected as global nominees.
The first global nominee team is from School of Engineering, DSU including first year students from CSE and mechanical engineering department.
NASA Space Apps Challenge Hackathon 2019
The countdown to NASA’s 2019 International Space Apps Challenge has begun! Now in its 8th year, Space Apps is an international hackathon for coders, scientists, designers, storytellers, makers, builders, technologists across major cities around the world, where teams engage with NASA’s free and open data to address real-world problems on Earth and in space.Space Apps 2018 included over 18,000 participants at more than 200 events in 75 countries.The 2019 NASA Space Apps kicks of at Bangalore at Dayananda Sagar University, Innovation Campus, Kudlu gate.
Space Apps inspires local communities to come together, think intensely, and create solutions to important problems and gives you an opportunity to bring projects to life for a wider range of applications. Each year, Space Apps engages thousands of individuals to to work with NASA’s open source data in a 48-hour sprint.We are looking forward to seeing what innovative, creative ideas you bring to the community this year.Space Apps 2019 is your chance to experience, experiment, and explore solutions to our universe’s biggest challenges!.
