Shivani is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science Engineering at Dayananda Sagar University, Bengaluru, holding a Master of Technology (M.TECH) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Birla Insitute of Technology, Mesra, Ranchi and Bachelor of Technology (B.TECH) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Engineering College Bikaner, Rajasthan. With a strong academic foundation, she is committed to advancing quality education and fostering research among undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Specializing in areas such as Machine Learning, Software Engineering, Operating System, Database Management System, Computer Networks and Web Technologies.

Passionate about research, Shivani has explored topics like Multimodal Emotion Recognition for Personalized Music Recommendation System Using EEG. Her research interests also include cryptography, aiming to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and industry needs.

Proficient in Programming languages such as Python, C and familiar with tools like MATLAB, Git, Shivani integrates practical skills into teaching to prepare students for real-world challenges.
