The program at DSU School of Law has the following elements that allow it to do so:
- A tech-forward program that allows students to explore a variety of contemporary topics like AI, Cyber Crime, NFT and IP law, etc from experts in the field. The program includes a series of workshops and seminars that are designed to introduce new developments in the field of law of technology to students. These seminars also allow students to directly interact with experts from the field ensuring that they receive first-hand insight into the changing landscape of the law.
- A dedicated foundational course on Science and Technology Studies (STS). STS is an interdisciplinary field that examines the creation, development, and consequences technology within its historical, cultural, and social contexts. Currently, STS is being included into curricula by universities like Harvard, Cornell, University of California Berkely, and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). DSU School of Law is the first law school in India to incorporate this important field into its legal curriculum.
- Training in two foreign languages as part of the curriculum to ensure that students are prepared to take on the challenges presented by the increasingly interconnected international legal spheres.
- A truly interdisciplinary and critical teaching pedagogy to ensure that students not only understand the principles of the law but also the ways in which these can be reimagined to meet the changing demands of New Age society.
