The School of Law, DSU, hosted a week-long Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Legal Pedagogy and Research, bringing together eminent jurists, distinguished professors, and internal faculty to share transformative insights on legal education.
The inaugural session featured Hon’ble Justice S.R. Bannurmath, Former Chief Justice of Kerala High Court, along with senior DSU leadership, setting the tone for an intellectually stimulating event.

Contributions from Internal Faculty
The internal sessions enriched the FDP with diverse perspectives on innovative teaching practices, flipped classrooms, international law pedagogy, negotiation techniques, mediation in matrimonial disputes, class management, data collection and analysis, mock trial exercises, and collaborative teaching methodologies. Together, these sessions underscored the commitment of DSU faculty towards fostering experiential, research-oriented, and student-centric learning.
The FDP successfully blended external expertise with internal innovation, equipping participants with modern tools of pedagogy and research in law. It reaffirmed DSU’s dedication to nurturing excellence in legal education.
