INTERNSHIP & PLACEMENTS
CJMC aims to make students industry-ready by creating real-life work situations in college. A compulsory internship helps students to face the challenges of the real world.
Every year CJMC students get pre-placement offers from leading media organisations based on their performance during the internship. CJMC students are always appreciated for their grasp of the subject, positive attitude, hard working nature and comprehensive skill sets.
Internship: There will be a compulsory 60 days summer internship during the course in the second year or third year. An internship project report should be submitted which will be evaluated on 100 marks and will have a viva voce. CJMC will assist the students in fixing the internship in Advertising, Digital Marketing, Public Relations, Events, Print, Television Journalism, Radio, Television Production, etc. – to allow the students to gain exposure in their chosen career field.
Placement: Final placements will commence in March-April, during the sixth semester, allowing students to confirm jobs even as they complete their three year course. Placements will depend on the student’s performance during the course, and the student’s performance in the selection process.

Higher Studies: CJMC students have opted for higher studies in prestigious institutions such as Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), New Delhi, University of Essex, UK, Takshashila University, Bengaluru.
Competitive Exams: CJMC students have successfully appeared in competitive exams for private and public sector jobs, government recruitments, civil services, etc based on their training and coursework at CJMC.
