I'm Roopa S Chikkamanavar, B.E. in E&C, M.Tech in Communication Systems, and Executive MBA in Project Management.

Yes, that is right!
I am a Technology and Management person too.

In a world where everybody says that women do not need any journey at all or aspirations in their career, questions are raised as to why all girls need to study—breaking a barrier and setting an example where necessary.

Being an M.Tech graduate from RVCE, Bengaluru, gave me confidence that I would be technically sound. But becoming an Executive MBA aspirant gave me a path on how to be balanced in my work! These 17 months of the Executive MBA program have given me the confidence to deal with people, which I wouldn't be able to do just with my eight years of technical knowledge.

Courses incorporated in Dayananda Sagar University's Executive MBA curriculum, such as Organisational Behaviour, helped me incorporate skills to deal with emotionally loaded conversations. Global Business gave me a bigger picture of where a product can reach; Project management helped me cut off my overdoing work and be more productive.

If I hadn't done an Executive MBA, I would not have reached this point, nor would I have become this confident enough to be what I am now.

Thanks to Dayananda Sagar University for bringing in superbly experienced professors and the needed curriculum, full of skill sets and focused on building student competencies.
