Strategic Plan
Over the past six years, the University has shown tremendous growth and to sustain the process, strategies must be formulated and implemented effectively. Strategic plan focuses on the current trends and disrupting forces in higher and technical education strata which when adopted can show better performance. It makes assessment of stakeholders expectations, students, faculty members, employers and needs of the people of the region.
DSU CST’s Strategic Plan includes the following: The institution /Department has a Strategic Plan in place to help it develop in a systematic, well-thought-out and phased manner.
- Application for grants from government and non-government sources.
- Extension of available area through vertical expansion to accommodate more classrooms, laboratories, auditoria, staffrooms etc.
- Improvement of the Scope and Profile of the Teaching-Learning Experience through greater use of ICT and other innovative means.
- Introduction of new subjects at the under-graduate level.
- Achievement of national and international recognition in the form of grants and awards.
- Partnering with Research Institutes.
- Mobilization of funds and projects through the alumnae and other stakeholders.
